iPhone 6S Plus audible ticking noise on video playback

My 128Gb iPhone 6S Plus is just over a month old. It is not jail-broken and I have updated to the latest iOS. There is a notable and constant ticking noise that can be heard when a video is played back. If I record video in a noisy setting it is not audible. When I record video in a quiet environment (doesn't have to be dead silent) then play it back it is very noticeable as you turn the volume up. The noise can be heard by the phone's speaker or even with the original Apple earphones plugged in.

Has anyone noticed this on their 6S or 6S Plus? Good thing I have AppleCare. Thanks.

Good day Apple4Noel,

It sounds like you are getting poor quality sound from your iPhone. I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article - If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker.

Hello

Was this issue ever resolved? If so how?

I am having issues with ticking noise in recorded videos.

If I remove case and record video the ticking noise is still present it is just not as loud.

Phone is 6s+

It seems that there is a ticking sound emanating from the phone near or at the home button.

Guss you may have resolved this by now, however i had the same issue, however removing the plastic that covers the new phone sometimes helps as it blocks the micrphone for videos....

No this issue has not been resolved. My AppleCare is still valid and I will take my phone in sometime to have it assessed.
